“Plasma therapy” is an effective method for the rapid recovery of patients with the current corona epidemic. In order to expedite the delivery of this plasma to the patients, under the direction of State Minister Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, under the supervision of Directorate General of Health Services, at the initiative of A2i Innovation Lab (iLab), in collaboration with technology partner e-Generation, online launch of Plasma Network “Shohojoddha” was held on June 9, 2020. Plasma donors and plasma recipients can register through this platform.
Also present on the occasion were Grey Bangladesh, MIST, E-Commerce Association Bangladesh, Universal Medical College Hospital Ltd., BSMMU, LabAid Cardiac Hospital, Evercare Hospital Dhaka, Praava Health, Pathao, Shohoz, Bangladesh Super Market Owners Association (BSOA), Journalists and reporters were present as partners.
At the event, Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan, PAA, Project Director, A2i and Mr. Anir Chowdhury, Policy Advisor, A2i discussed about “Plasma Therapy” and mentioned the issues to be addressed.
